Tuesday Morning Sketches with Raisin Boat!

Hi there!  It's been a while!  I am pleased to post a card based on Tuesday Morning Sketch #202 which is a masculine themed card based on this:

Here's my take on the sketch, using the stamp set His and Hers by Raisin Boat.  The laundry line stamp sets are some of my favorites!

Happy Stamping!  The color of this card is actually an orange, I am not sure why it's so red - I will try for a better photo later.

I've Been Busy!

I am so excited I had the chance to play in my art room this weekend!  I have created some art to submit for publication (fingers crossed!) and I even had time to make a few cards!

This card is using the NEW Close to My Heart Chantilly paper pack, and the Perfect Fit stamps by Close to My Heart!  The great thing about the frames is that the Cricut Cartridges by Close to My Heart have the same imges, so no more fussy cutting after I stamp! Hooray!

I am entering this in the Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge where anything goes, and I'm also using this for a Party Time Tuesday entry, where anything goes, too!

I am also entering this into the Clear it Out challenge to use something from your stash (I have a TON of that pink pom pom ribbon I am trying to get rid of!) and circles.

Enjoy!  Happy Stamping!

Hi Friends!  Today I'm playing along with Party Time Tuesday's Challenge #104 Decorate the Envelope and Die Cuttin' Divas  Border punch with ribbon, Challenge #99
Of course, I cut it too close for Die Cuttin' Divas ( by three minutes!) but I'm still in for Party Time Tuesdays.

I used to decorate my envelopes all the time, and I forgot how much fun it makes the card!  I will have to start doing it again.  Makes people smile before they even open it, don't you think? :)

Happy Monday!

A Valentine

I just picked up a Tim Holtz Valentine kit from Archiver's, and I love this little cupid.  I really like those blueprint stamps!

I created this card for some challenges I found:
SimonSaysStampsChallenge  - use Washi tape (the washi tape I used came from Doodlebug, it's the stripe and the heart pattern, that I adhered to white cardstock, then punched out!)
The Cute Card Thursday challenge for Diamonds  and
The Moxie Fab World Challenge to use 10 embellishments on one card.

Happy Stamping!

A happy penguin birthday card

I am embracing the new year and getting some things done!

First, I wanted to organize my craft room.  Well, it's not perfect, but it's way better than it was before!

Next, I wanted to work on some challenges for the long weekend - I haven't posted art in a while!  Here's what I came up with for the Die Cuttin' Diva's Challenge  #98 Penguins, and also Clear it Out Challenges blog Challenge to use circles and clearing out anything in your stash.

I used a Spellbinders nesting die set for the two labels behind the penguin, and the little penguin himself is a Lifestyle Crafts (Quickutz) die called Birthday Penguin.  I was using up a sticker sheet with the cupcake sticker and the {happy} sticker.

Happy Stamping!

Masculine Happy 50th Card

Hi there!  Just wanted to post a fun card for the Fantabulous Cricut challenge blog.  This was my first time visiting the site, but I really wanted to try my hand at the masculine card challenge.  It's A Man's World, Challenge #144.   Here it  is:

I love that sentiment.  It cracks me up!  I used the Close to My Heart's Artiste cartridge for both the speech bubble and the numbers.

Happy Stamping!
